The major study activities of the Department of Information and Communication cover two areas: "Communication and Electromagnetic Wave" and "Signal Processing and System." The Communication and Electromagnetic Wave program has emphasized to educate students with the knowledge to design and develop communication-related circuits, and the abilities to measure and analyze EMC and SI for RF and high-speed circuits through very thorough theoretical and practical training. The Signal Processing and System program focused on both theoretical and application-oriented study activities to cultivate students with abilities of signal measurement and processing (speech, image and video). In addition to training electronic engineers, this department has also been very actively involved in professional certification system. Based upon theoretical and practical training, students are strongly encouraged and supported to get both national and international professional-related certificates.
