JUST’s Volunteer Culinary Team Brings Warmth and Joy to Seniors Ahead of the Double Ninth Festival.

Ahead of the Double Ninth Festival, the "Show-Show Dear Seniors" volunteer culinary team—comprising members from JUST’s Culinary Arts Club and the Overseas Student Association—visited the senior activity center at the Beiyi Community Development Association in Xindian. The team hosted a "Youth-Senior Intergenerational Learning and Dining" event, which also served as a birthday celebration for the elderly. Through activities such as a joint workshop on crafting floral-patterned light slides, a nutritious meal prepared by faculty and students from the Department of Culinary Arts, and the presentation of handmade birthday cakes, the event embodied the spirit of respecting and caring for the elderly.
