JUST Charity Cooking: JUST Students Help Xindian Guishan Seniors Make Smart Fruit Choices Using GI Values. ​​(October 9, in 2026.)

Sponsored by the Ministry of Education’s "Deepen Higher Education" Project, the MiTAC-Synnex Group’s Yuxiu Education Foundation, and the Tan Sheng-Dao Charity Foundation, the "Xiuxiu Big Baby" volunteer cooking team—comprising students from Just-in-Time University’s Chinese Culinary & Fruit Carving Club and Health Ambassadors Club—visited the Xindian Guishan Community Development Association’s care center on October 7. Together, they hosted a joint learning and charity cooking event where participants explored low-GI fruits and crafted small ornaments. The students also served a carefully prepared, nutritious lunch, offering the seniors a delightful experience that nourished the mind, delighted the eye, and satisfied the palate.
