JUST received a donation of NT$10 million from Hsu Chih-ching, Chairman of G-Tech Optoelectronics, to establish the "JUST AI R&D Center" in 2024. Guided by the vision of "giving every student their own AI," the university is creating an innovation ecosystem that integrates academic learning with practical application.

The center fosters interdisciplinary integration by embedding AI into daily instruction. Departments such as Food & Beverage, Design, Tourism, and Marketing have combined their professional expertise with AI to develop applications ranging from data-driven management and generative content creation to smart tour guidance. Regarding industry-academia collaboration, teams of faculty and students have partnered with companies like Huiwen Technology and Lion Travel, successfully developing practical solutions such as an "AI Health Monitor."

Furthermore, the center actively expands international connections, promoting cross-border courses and healthcare initiatives with partners in the United States, Singapore, and Malaysia. Looking ahead, the university will focus on "AI education, industrial application, and international exchange." Through the establishment of innovation workshops and "Big Health" research groups, it aims to continue cultivating a new generation of talent equipped with interdisciplinary, practical capabilities.
