🔰🔰✨ Educational Visit to Tokyo Confectionery School ✨🔰🔰
Tokyo Confectionery School is one of Japan’s most prestigious institutions specializing in confectionery education. Renowned for its extensive hands-on training and specialized curriculum, the school is dedicated to cultivating highly skilled professionals in pastry, bakery, and traditional Japanese confectionery (wagashi). It is widely regarded as one of the highest halls of confectionery education in Japan.
As part of this overseas study tour, students were given the valuable opportunity to visit Tokyo Confectionery School for a professional educational experience. The delegation was personally led by Dr. Chung-Luen Kao(George)(高崇倫), Vice President for Research and Development, and accompanied throughout the visit by Professor Wei-Hsun Ku(辜韋勳) and Professor Hsiang-Chun Lin(林香君) from the Department of Food and Beverage Management.
Through on-site observation and professional exchange, students gained firsthand insight into Japan’s artisan-training philosophy. They explored advanced teaching facilities, practical training kitchens, and curriculum design, learning how Japanese confectionery education effectively integrates theory with practice while maintaining close connections with industry needs.
From the cultivation of craftsmanship and professional ethics to the development of precise technical skills, the experience provided both students and faculty with valuable knowledge and inspiration, broadening their perspectives for future academic and professional growth.
