July 1 (Wed.), in 2026, is Taiwan's National Fishermen's Day. This festival, held annually on July 1st, aims to recognize the hard work of fishermen and promote fishing culture. Although the event dates are usually scheduled around July 1st (for example, in September 2025), the core festival is July 1st. At that time, the Ministry of Agriculture and local governments (such as fishermen's associations) will hold activities such as honoring exemplary fishermen, seafood exhibitions, and cultural experiences to promote the importance of Taiwan's fishing industry.
