Forty incredibly creative and lavish indigenous dishes were served at JUST. One example is the collaboration between Sichuan peppercorns and French madeleines and croissants.

These creations, after baking, resulted in a soft and flavorful Sichuan peppercorn cheese madeleine with a unique peppery and lemony aroma, and a simple yet fragrant Sichuan peppercorn salt croissant. The judges of the JUST's Sichuan peppercorn creative cuisine competition exclaimed in amazement, unanimously praising the participating students' incredible creativity!

To revitalize the economic development of indigenous communities, Ching Wen University of Science and Technology, through its Higher Education Deep Cultivation Project and with sponsorship from the Yu-Hsiu Education Foundation and the Tan Sheng-Tao Charity Foundation, has been developing a product using local resources, ingredients, and indigenous cuisine. This initiative aims to promote the development of indigenous small-scale farming. The 7th Annual Mountain Lime Creative Cuisine Competition will be held on November 7, in 2025. Students and faculty from six student clubs—Chinese Culinary Arts Club, Culinary Arts Club, Cool Pastry Club, Creative Baking Club, Taiwan Coffee Club, and Culinary Research Club—will participate, presenting and judging 40 mountain pepper dishes.
