JUST's volunteer cooking team celebrated the Double Ninth Festival with seniors in Shiding. ##..~~.~.~

On the eve of the Double Ninth Festival, the "Xiu Xiu Big Baby Charity Cooking Team," formed by the Chinese Cuisine Fruit Carving Club and the Health Ambassadors Club of JUST, with support from the Ministry of Education's Deepening Project, the Tan Shengdao Charity Foundation, and the Yuxiu Education Foundation, held a youth-elderly community engagement event on October 28th in collaboration with the Laowu Lao Foundation's Shiding Service Center. The team spent the Double Ninth Festival with seniors from the Fengzilin Rizhao and Laowu Lao Shiding community bases. The team engaged in exercise, crafting, cooking, sharing dishes, and dining with the elderly. They also prepared lunch for the recipients of their meal delivery service. The event brought together the young and old, allowing the Shiding seniors to experience the warmth and joy of the holiday in advance.
