JUST announced new progress in internationalization today (28). President Huang Rongpeng led a delegation to Guam and officially signed a sister school cooperation agreement with the University of Guam. This cooperation symbolizes a new milestone in the education, academic and cultural exchanges between the two schools, and deepens the international layout of JUST in the Pacific region. President Huang Rongpeng pointed out that this cooperation will provide JUST with more opportunities for overseas exchanges, training and internships, especially the departments of tourism, hospitality, language and so on will be able to carry out specific cooperation with the relevant fields of the University of Guam. It is expected that the two sides will promote teacher-student exchanges, short-term exchange courses, joint research and other programs in the future to expand students' international vision and competitiveness.
The University of Guam is the most representative higher education institution in Guam and has comprehensive international education resources. Through this sister school agreement, JUST has added another important partner on the basis of its existing international cooperation with the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines, making the overseas education exchange network more diverse and complete.
