January 15 (Thursday), in 2026, Pharmacist Day

January 15th is Pharmacist Day in Taiwan. This holiday commemorates the promulgation of the "Provisional Regulations on Pharmacists" by the Nationalist government on January 15, in 1929. The term "pharmacist" also first appeared on this date. Pharmacist Day also serves as a tribute to pharmacists nationwide, thanking them for their frontline work in safeguarding the safety and health of the public through medication.
