The Department of Food and Beverage Management at JUST won one special gold medal and two gold medals at the Oceania International Culinary Challenge.
The "2025 Oceania International Culinary Arts Challenge" was held on Sunday, July 27, in 2025, at the Ellerslie Event Centre in Auckland, New Zealand. Nine countries participated, including the United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. The competition was supervised by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission and presented with the flag by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before departing. The JUST Department of Food and Beverage Management, led by Professor Chen Wenzheng, represented Taiwan in the competition. The team achieved fruitful results, winning one special gold medal and two gold medals.
