2025/6/9 (Mon.) Railway Festival

 

Railway Day is a holiday established by the government of the Republic of China to commemorate the development of the railway industry. The date is set for June 9 because China's first self-built railway, the Tang-Xu Railway, was scheduled to start laying tracks on June 9, the birthday of George Stephens, the "Father of Railways."
