The 2025 Jianxing Haobang Cup Hospitality Skills National Open Competition was grandly held at Jianxing University of Science and Technology on May 16 and 17. The competition was guided by the Ministry of Education and the Youth Affairs Bureau of Taoyuan City Government, and supported by Caimeng Co., Ltd. Chengmeng Co., Ltd. hosted the event and invited major companies to sponsor the event.
This year's competition reached more than 500 people. The competition was divided into 16 events, including catering poster design group, creative Italian pasta group, fruit cutting group, cooking display group, French baking dessert group, theme cake display group, tray skills group, single-person competition fancy napkin folding group, group dining table setting group, competition bed making group, young sommelier group, coffee latte art group, beverage three-dimensional carving group, boutique coffee hand-poured extraction group, and traditional standard cocktail mixing group.

The purpose of the competition is to enhance the professional skills, service quality and international status of my country's tourism and catering industry, to prosper the tourism and catering related industries, and to effectively promote and introduce catering products. To cultivate professional talents in the catering industry, improve the skills of catering preparation, catering services and catering aesthetics, and promote the development of the national tourism and catering industry through mutual competition and observation. To enhance the knowledge and skills of domestic high school and college students and hospitality service personnel in all aspects of the hospitality industry, including cooking and baking preparation, coffee bartending, hospitality services, and hospitality aesthetics. To stimulate the understanding of humanities and food life among high school, vocational and college students in China, and through learning by observation, to encourage and enhance students' learning motivation and cultivate their keen observation of people and things, so as to promote the ability to combine academic and practical skills.
