2025/08/14 (Thu.) Air Force Day

 

 In 1940, on the third anniversary of the Air Force's War of Resistance against Japan, Soong Mei-ling, then Secretary-General of the Aviation Commission, suggested that the National Government designate August 14th of each year as Air Force Day to commemorate the victory of the first Sino-Japanese air battle, further inspire public morale, and encourage the enthusiasm of the people across the country to fight against Japan.
