JUST leads the national campus elite to work together to light up hope and create a unique sky lantern event.
The 2025 Pingxi Sky Lantern Festival will be held on February 8 and February 12 at Pingxi Junior High School and Shifen Square respectively. Hundreds of sky lanterns will be launched simultaneously, decorating the night sky and bringing a visual and spiritual feast to the public. The theme of this year's Sky Lantern Festival is "Golden Snake Brings Good Luck". The 20-foot main lantern was first unveiled at Pingxi Junior High School, symbolizing peace and prosperity in the new year. A unique "Snake Year Double Heart Main Lantern" has been specially designed at the Shifen venue. Two specially made snake-shaped sky lanterns will slowly rise into the night sky, eventually forming a romantic double heart pattern. Accompanied by hundreds of small sky lanterns flying around, the scene is even more heartwarming and touching.
