Yang Ya-fen, a student from the Department of Food and Beverage Management at JUST, received the highest honor in the 13th "Vocational Excellence Award" (Cooking and Culinary Skills Competition) from the Ministry of Education. She previously won 2 gold and 1 bronze medals at the 17th Hong Kong International Culinary Competition, demonstrating her practical skills by accurately judging the doneness of spring chicken under pressure using her body temperature. She has an outstanding academic record, becoming the first recipient of the Outstanding Youth Award, and was awarded the Chairman's Award upon graduation. She also has extensive culinary experience, including internships at top hotels and a Golden Horse Awards banquet.
