June 6 (Sat.), in 2026, - Engineers' Day & Water Conservancy Day

June 6 (Sat.), in 2026, will still be Taiwan's "Engineers' Day" and "Water Conservancy Day". This festival is to commemorate Yu the Great, the ancient Chinese hero who controlled floods, and to pay tribute to all water conservancy and engineering professionals. This day is a fixed date, regardless of the year, and aims to thank engineers for their contributions to society. The Irrigation Agency and related units will hold celebrations.
