June 3 (Wed.), in 2026, No Smoking Day.
June 3 (Wed.), in 2026, is No Smoking Day in Taiwan, commemorating the historical event of Lin Zexu's destruction of opium at Humen. It aims to remind the public of the dangers of tobacco (including cigarettes and drugs), promote smoke-free environments, encourage people to quit smoking, and publicize relevant provisions of the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act, such as banning e-cigarettes and restricting smoking areas, to help people establish a healthy, smoke-free lifestyle.
