May 12 (Tue.), in 2026 - Nurses Day

May 12 (Tue.), in 2026 is International Nurses Day. This day was established to commemorate the birth of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing (May 12, 1820), and to recognize the contributions and dedication of nursing professionals. In Taiwan, it has also been officially renamed "International Nurses Day" to highlight the professional status of nurses.
