Students from the Department of Travel Management at JUST took to the international stage, leading Japanese high school students on an in-depth experience of Taipei culture.
To promote youth exchange between Taiwan and Japan and enhance students' international perspectives and practical skills, the Department of Travel Management at the College of Hospitality & Tourism Management, in JUST, hosted the "9th International Tourism Ambassador Talent Training Program." Through professional course training and on-site guided tour internships, the program cultivated students' international hospitality and tour guiding abilities. From October to December this year, students actually hosted high school students on a school trip from Japan, leading them to explore popular Taipei attractions and experience local culture.
This year's program attracted 41 participants, including university and high school students. The entire training was free and included indoor courses, outdoor tour guiding training, and pre-trip site visits. The program covered well-known Taipei shopping districts such as Yongkang Street and Ximending, combining historical culture with modern tourism resources to strengthen students' tour guiding skills and service etiquette.
