Minor Snow is one of the 24 solar terms. The sun is at 240° of the ecliptic longitude and the Big Dipper points to Hai. It starts from about November 21 to November 23 every year. The temperature drops compared to the previous period. The air temperature in the north gradually drops below 0℃ and snow begins to fall. It freezes at night and melts during the day. The amount of snow increases from small to large.
