11/15 (Fri.) Xiayuan Festival. Xiayuan Festival is one of the Chinese festivals. It falls on the 15th day of the 10th month of the lunar calendar. It is the birthday of "Emperor Shuiguan". According to legend, this is the day when the god will come down to earth to relieve the people's misfortune. On this day, people will prepare incense and candle offerings to worship Emperor Shuiguan in order to seek peace.
